The Registry Office is located in a former church and the sandstone widow detailing had suffered badly over the centuries from attack by the wind and rain.
To repair in a sensitive manner, blending with the surrounding weathered but sound areas. Also to protect from future attack.
The repairs were carried out using a colour-matched polymer rebuilding compound. The whole area was then treated with a micro-porous (breathable) system, to prevent future water damage and attack.
