A previously applied Bitumous coating had failed and created an issue with adhesion of a replacement coating. In the event of a tank or boiler leak the floors below would be liable to flooding
To provide a lining that would over come the bond issue to the Bitumous coating and provide a bunded area within the plant room.
By the creation of a laminated/anchored flooring system which bonded to the concrete slab via a steel mesh. This provided a seamless lining of the floor to walls and thereby a fully waterproof bunding system was created.
